Services Upgrades 100/200/400A

Some of the buildings that were set up years ago in Toronto do not have the capacity to handle the electrical needs that most households and commercial entities have. There is often an overload of the system, which is dangerous. Some equipment may not work with low power. Service upgrades in such areas are important as a matter of safety. An electric service upgrade is done to increase the amount of electric power that gets into your building.

If you are a business or manufacturing entity that has moved in to a new area, you need to be sure that the electrical service is sufficient to handle your electrical needs. PK electric offers service upgrades of 100A, 200A, 300A, and 400A depending on your requirement.

Call PK Electric if you have any of the following problems;

  • The electric panels overheat during the use of various types of equipment.
  • Fuses blow often and circuit breakers trip
  • You have installed equipment that causes the lights to flicker anytime it is running.
  • You have added a new office or workshop.

How do we perform an electric service upgrade?

The standard in electrical power in today’s home is 200 amps. However, depending on the appliances at home, you may need to upgrade the electrical services to 400 amps or more. When upgrading your electric service we do a complete replacement of the service around the building. It includes the meter base, the electric panel, and grounding and bonding system, load side service entrance cabling, weather head, and line side service entrance cabling among others. If the layout of the building has not changed over the years, we can just update the electrical meter and the panel.

We have over 30 years’ experience in undertaking electric service upgrades in Toronto and surrounding areas. Our technicians are insured and can be relied on for good service. Contact us for a free electric power upgrade estimate.
